im not much on running the score up but the year before when they beat us 10-6 the were starting fights after the game so i figure they deserved it
That same 1996 team, to my knowledge, was still pretty decent too. They lost to Giles at half state by a touchdown that I think Giles scored on a fumble recovery on a rainy afternoon? Sounds like a game PV could have won? Somebody help me out here.Quote:

Lee was pretty good that year to my knowledge. Powell Valley pretty much dominated the rest of their opponents. Well kinda. I remember the state game. I was in 5th grade. It was cold and windy. Coeburn played PV tough the first half that season until PV wore them down.
It was nice watching Julius rip it up. Victor Williams and Matt McCoy were something too.
